I am currently running a R9 280X and I run most games happily at 1080p 60 fps. I just ran into $600 nzd and was wondering if now is a good time to upgrade my gpu with so much change in the market. If so the what is a nice card for that price range.

If your running your games fine @1080P/60 FPS then I would wait, no reason to upgrade just for the heck of it.
