Should I consider "upgrading" from i7 2600k to i5 4670k ?

1. Question is, how big will difference be for example on Need for Speed 2015 game, which uses all 8 threads on ~ 50 % ?

2. So question is, how does one i7 2600k core (2 threads) compare to ONE 4670k core ("1 thread"!) ?

3. Running my 2600k @ 4.5 GHz currently, for some reason only achieving 690 score in XTU (I had it reach more than 800 score some weeks ago), I'm on air cooling, CPU never reaching more than 72°C fyi. So my question is is my 2600k "breaking down" or why less score?

4. And will 4670k at STOCK clock be already better than 2600k @ 4.5 GHz ?

Thanks

Sincerely, Daniel

I would keep the i7, It would be the same as saying: ok, I will upgrade from 4790k to 6600k. I wouldn't do that. About your cpu breaking down, what is the voltage you are using ? And about the benchmark I think it would change from time to time. For comparison (judge as you want) I got 938 marks with i5 5675C @3,6GHz and 78C maximum temp

Some Raijintek cooler, just like the stock cooler but a little better and a lot more silent. I also use (unfortunately) the iGPU, which also leads to overheating. I plan to buy 1070, Vega or whatever as soon as I have money and buy a liquid cooler, but for now I'm dealing with overheating :(
