Two xeon or one i7 processor in my gaming rig ???

i was preparing to build a gaming rig (Insane one).
but watching some reviews and youtube videos i am confused now.

i will use
2 Nvidia 1080 in SLI
and 2400 Mhz to 3200 Mhz Ram 32 GB.

now when it comes to processor what should i go for?
Dual xeon or single i7. ??
Suggest best one.

Can i have dual i7 ?? i know it isnt possible may be...

Yeah thats what those X99 board based Broadwell-E cpus are best at, they have way more cores than any game needs and so your recording software has room to play and encode while not affecting your...

There are literally zero benefits to a dual Xeon gaming setup. There are no games out there that will ever use all the cores/threads it can provide, and heck most games won't even utilize the second processor at all. It may even run slower than below:

An X99 Motherboard with prettymuch any i7 available for it would crush anything you can play today and into the foreseeable future. Thats the route you should go.

If i decide to do some PC game recording as well and rendering them for youtube videos ..
Will i7 work there too ??
