1.65v ram support

Hello im new here and this is my first post. I've looked all around different forums and got answers all over the spectrum so I figured Id join and try to resolve my specific issue. Recently my old built PC gave out on me. It was an old i7 940. Over the years I've upgraded everything but the motherboard and CPU. My brother gave me for free an I7 2600s so I bought a new motherboard for it and some new RAM. The MB is an asrock-z77extreme4 and the ram is Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory with 1.65v. After I bought what I needed I was informed about the website PC parts picker. I inputted all the stuff that I had to check for compatibility and it gave me a notification about the ram being possibly to high-voltage for my motherboards 1.5v standard. I don't know what this means for my system and I know that my CPU and motherboard are older for current day but I'm concerned whether or not this would adversely affect my unit. I mostly game on it.

Should I be concerned? Will this affect my gaming performance? Will or could anything be damaged using this voltage ram?
 
Solution
For the 1.5V RAM in intel MB, usually they are in either 1866mhz or lower speed, not for your 2400mhz RAM, because for the higher speed RAM you have to increase the RAM voltage so that the PC will run stable.
For the 2400mhz, 1.65V is the right voltage, it should be compatible to your MB and the i7. And you should use the XMP profile setting in the BIOS memory section.
