Random system hangs!

hi guys, after building my system by myself, started playing having fun but i faced several random hanging, like when i start a game, or switch to my desktop and back to the game

sometimes it hang totally so i don't hear who i call, sometimes i hear them but i cant get rid of the hanged window in front of me.

Spec:
MOBO : MSI z-170a PRO
cpu : i5 6600k
gpu : Rx 480

1) What is your PSU?
2) Do you check the cpu/gpu temp yet?

PSU: XFX TS 550W full wired brinze.
About the temps, i dont check them regulary and ive never checked my gpu's.
My cpu in idle as i remember 25~30
50~ in load

Ill have to check them for u but can u suggest a monitoring program so i gave you the full details.

If the temps are fine, and you did use the newer GPU driver, then check your RAM one by one with MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

Do you test the RAM by MemTest86 yet?

First, I watched that video, does the issue occur with a particular game only or all the games? If it is for all the games, you should try update the drivers, like chipset driver, disable the antivirus, uninstall the utility software, etc. Then try play the games again, but don't forget active the antivirus again when you done the test.

And may check the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V in the BIOS, maybe in hardware monitor section. PSU Voltage Tolerances

Also using DDU to uninstall the AMD GPU driver, or other GPU driver if there is one, in safe mode. Then reinstall the newer AMD GPU driver.
If you have other GPU, then test it in this PC. Or test the rx 480 in other PC, just make sure the rx480 works fine.

If you still have the same problem, use the minimum hardware to test the PC, like use onboard iGPU, one stick memory, only the hard drive with the OS in it, disconnect any add-on devices, like sound card, network card, gaming mouse/keyboard, etc.

what uve seen in the video happens only with shadow of morder
but random hangs still occurs
ill try other games to see if i had the same issue like the one with shadow of morder.
to be frank i didnt face any crashes except with this games for a week, maybe it has gone cuz i did mystery thing, LOL.

If it is only for that game, may try low the game setting to see what happens. Or try update the GPU driver if you don't have the newer one yet.

Except shadow of morser, which is the only game with this problem.

2) May refresh the WIn10, because the problem may relate to DirectX 12, which comes with win10. And even backup the games or the data first, then reinstall the win10.

Yes, you need. You should back up your data/ system, etc. regularly.
