So I built my PC about 3 days ago, everything is perfect inside. But I can't get the thing to stop freezing. I tried to fix this by reinstalling the water cooler and eventually just putting in the stock heat sync. Now, i can't get off of the bootup screen because Windows 10 is messed up. I've tried at least 10 times installing the OS again and it just won't work. Can anyone please help me? Here are my specs:
i5-4690k
GTX 1070
16gb Corsair Dominator RAM
2tb HDD
Thermaltake TR-600
Gigabyte Z97X-SLI Motherboard
I really need help, i spent so much money on this thing and i can't afford to have it screw up on me. Thank yiu to all who answer. If there is any other information you need to know, don't be afraid to ask at all.

Edit: Thank you everyone for the help, but i figured out the problem! My mb drivers are out of date, so I'll be good to go once i get those updated. Again, thank you everyone for the help! Much love <3

No, but good news! I found out what was wrong! I just need to update my motherboard's PCI lanes i should be good to go; i also completely reset my HDD, reinstalled windows, and the way I found out my problem was by taking my GPU out and just using the mb video connections and it worked, very well might i add. I really appreciate the help, my friend <3

I have it installed but it won't initiate the launch of windows. Yes it posts, and right after that i get an error saying Windows can't be launched.

Do you have the windows bootable disk? If you do I suggest you run the Chkdsk utility from said disc. I suspect the hard drive is DOA and that should tell you if there are any bad sectors on the disc.

I don't think it's DOA because before, it was actually loading to the windows hone screens and i could open Microsoft Edge, but it would freeze after that and i would get a blue screen. Do you think it's still possible for it to be DOA even though it loaded that little bit?
