So I have the Cryorig H7 and one of the screws wouln't go in. Its like the clamping mechanism wasn't working for one side. When I pressed it down to screw it in, it poped up the other one, so did this one issue lead me to my next issue

I booting up the PC with a new i5-4690k and it was running at 99c. So I shut it down and just gave up and put on the stock cooler. Nows its 38c idle. So was it the cooler issue or was it the thermal paste? Also is this something I could fix or should I use my warranty?

Yes I followed it. The mounting is just not leveled and I cant level it because of how it crosses (Like an X) so if I push down on the top left corner to screw it, it pops up the bottom right hand corner.

The plate is dual sided, one for Intel, one for AMD. it sounds like your plate isn't flipped to the right side. Did you try reversing it?

Yes I did. As I said the issue is that one side is leveled and the other is not. It's like the plate broke a bit or something
