What kind of games can my desktop play if I have this:
Intel Pentium 2.7 GHz(planning to buy a 3.3Ghz instead)
6 GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GTX750Ti GDDR5(about to buy it)
Windows 7
That's about my current budget
Thnx!

You are not asking the right question. If this is a system you are building, you need to list your budget and what you expect out of the system. Right now the setup is OK for lower graphics on new games because of the CPU. And some games won't run well at all on a Pentium CPU now, they really want a quad core i5. In a year or two it will really struggle with games. Don't buy for minimum specs now, in 2-3-4 years you will be well out of the class of system you need for games, unless you want to spend money twice to re-buy...
You should mention other than just stating a Intel Pentium cpu at 2.7Ghz.

What generation of cpu you have, and how many cpu cores it has, and if it is a I3, I5 or I7 model range of the cpu.

As it will greatly effect how well the system will run games with a GTX 750 Ti graphics card fitted to the system.

Try to include as much information as you can on the exact cpu you are using.

LGA 1150 is meant for LGA 1150 motherboards only. Same goes with LGA 1151 and 2011 v3.

You can play games from before 2011-2012 perfectly fine. As for newer games, you will have to go low or some might not even run well on low unless you go down to 720p.

Would recommend a Pentium G3258 instead seeing as it's $10-20 cheaper and has an unlocked multiplier that can bring your clock speed up to 4.2 GHz. Stock cooler that the CPU comes with will do you fine when you overclock it to 4.2 GHz by the way.

Also, it's LGA 1150 so don't worry about that.

Yes im already looking to change my pentium..just a quick question, the i3 4160 can support 4 threads right?so will it be ok as a subtitute for an i5?

The i3-6100 is the best price/performance one in the range, you should get that instead of the 4160. It's not as good as an i5 but is a good lower end gaming CPU.
