Is the Stock CPU cooler fine for non over clocking when gaming

Solution
If you have the full set of case fans installed, don't have your tower near a prime heat source, have adequate ventilation for it, & have your cable management set up inside the case, then the stock cooler should be fine.

If your temps are still having issues, however, then an inexpensive air-based aftermarket cooler (like the ones @JQB45 mentioned) should be more than sufficient.
Which CPU are you intending to use with the stock cooler?

A lot of times a stock cooler is adequate, but just barely. An inexpensive CPU Cooler such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or the CRYORIG H7 will provide excellent cooling, and lower noise.

The result would allow your CPU to stay at turbo speed longer and more often, resulting in better performance while being quieter.
