Hi Everyone.
Amm. I live in Saudia Arabia , Riyadh. And the temperatures here in summer have currntly risen up to 56 `C. My pc was overheating but i fixed that but now the problem is my two hdds are heating so muck that they stop working and i fear yhey may get damaged. I am currently broke and cant afford a cooler for the hdds . Any tips how to make on myself. I have a pc fan 120 mm that i am not using. I checked the temps of my hdd using hdd tune and it was showing 61 `C . Thats bad right......and plus i dont have a well ventillated case..maybe thats the problem. Ok so any tips how to cool these hdds or even how to cool them with a single fan.
Here is the link to my pc case picture. Its an hp minitower.

Hi there Xs,

What are the models of the drives? You can check their spec sheets and see what is the highest acceptable operational temps. My bet would be that 61 C should be either above that or around the upper limit.

Are the drives attached to SATA ports that are next to one another? If this is the case, you can attach your secondary drive to another port.
You can consider what IDProG suggested as well.

It may be a good idea to test the drives with some HDD testing tools in order to check their health status out.

Cheers,
