My case isnt big enough for a 1060, can i use the alienware external gpu box or the razer core?

It would depend on the specs of your computer because those are not exactly just "usb plugable". But still, that would make no sense as it would cost you a lot more than what it would take to get a decent case that's bigger for your components. Those things are meant for laptops, not as a desktop expansion slot.
