Gaming RIG Wifi problem

Building a gaming rig, but cant really get a cable to my room right now, so i need to use wifi.
I dont want USB adapters because they slow down the CPU.
Wondering wich is better, PCI (internal card) or a wireless ethernet bridge.

the powerline adapters or the PCI wireless card will give more stable and a faster wireless connection.I live in a penth house so im on the upper floor, and for powerline the power circuit has to be the same and im not sure.
