Fast dvd or bray drive?

I burn stuff a lot to my dvd so I was wondering what is the fastest burn speed a DVD drive can have and what are some good drive? Internal drives only. If Bluray then cool cause It would be lovely watching some bluray films (bray speed wont matter, only dvd)

These days DVD write speeds stack up like this:

DVD+R Speed: 24X
DVD+R Dual-Layer Speed: 16X
DVD+RW Speed: 8X
DVD-R Speed: 24X
DVD-R Dual-Layer Speed: 12X
DVD-RW Speed: 6X
DVD-RAM Speed:12X

A cheap non-Bluray drive that hits these speeds goes for $20 on Newegg:

The problem with Bluray drives is that their DVD write speeds are typically slower than a DVD/CD burner, so bear that in mind. With that said, the most readily available BD drive with the fastest DVD writes is this one for around $55: https://www.amazon.com/Asus-DVD-ROM-Internal-Blu-Ray-BC-12B1ST/dp/B004SUO068

Well then, I think I am gonna save some money and get myself one DVD drive + external bray drive then
