Specs:
I7-4790k
16gb DDR3 1600Mhz RAM
MSI Z97 PC Mate mobo
And of course a 970

It started when I plugged in my new SSD, completely blank, turned comp back on and no output.

I've tried resetting CMOS and updating to the latest BIOS, as well as reseating everything on the board.

The card spins up and when the bios is set to IGP mode both the BIOS and windows detects the card, a couple of times I was even able to install the drivers after letting Nvidia auto detect the card, other times when installing the Nvidia driver I get BSOD DIRvER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER.

I have 3 days until I send it to EVGA (thank you warranty), however I'd rather not have to wait a good bit for that, anyone have any suggestions?

Solution
I bought a 970 ssc about 20 days ago, had to RMA it and got a new one yesterday. The new one works fine. The one i rma'd wasnt outputting video either.

Let me correct myself, the magical wizard fixed it for an hour, I got a BSOD video_tdr_failure, now the card won't output again, windows and BIOS still detects it but refuses to use it.
