I just got my new define r5 today but having trouble putting the mb io shield panel into the case.
Now, i somehow managed to push the 3 corner in place but the last one is not secure.
So i just wanna know if its the case that has problem or its because my io shield panel is too old (inspiron 580)?

Fyi, i think there suppose to be a "click" sound when i push my io shield into the case but i heard none and somehow the 3 corner is secured.

Solution
I don't think the click noise is essential!

It just needs to sit flush at the back

EDIT; If it's a really tight fit, put the IO shield in the freezer for 1 hour. If you try and install it when the shield is cold and the case warm it might just give it a bit more room

it worked in my old case (Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case). I took the io shield out from my old case and put it into the define r5. didnt work, then i tried putting it back into my old case. and it worked... but I just want to use the define r5 so badly. i just kind of make it secure (without any "click" sound, just kind of make it stuck into the place) in my r5 case :(
so im wondering if its the r5 case's problem or its because of the io shield? If it is about the io shield then i dont care about it because im getting a new mobo and cpu. but if its the case, then i need to change it within a month.
