I installed my graphics card almost a year ago and I never really had issues until I tried to update the drivers for it. In the GeForce experience it says I have the 358.91 driver and recently I tried to update to the 368.81 driver. When the installer was running and after it ran my main monitor went out and it was running only on my second monitor. (My primary monitor is being run on HDMI and the secondary is on VGA if that helps) after the installer ran it kept telling me to install the same update and the same thing happens every time I try update it. The only way I can get my main monitor back is by going into the programs and uninstalling the graphics driver and going to the control panel and have it search for the drivers. My friend thinks I might not have installed the card correctly but everything i've looked up suggest i installed it correctly. please help me.
