I am using 2 sata HDD and one IDE dvd writer.

Mine showing like this way:

1. IDE Channel 0 master - DVD
2. IDE Channel 0 slave -- None
3. IDE Channel 1 master - HDD1
4. IDE Channel 1 slave - HDD2

I want to move HDD1 to channel 0 master, how can I do that?

Reason for this, installing mac.

Please help

What motherboard do you have? Im guessing the older legacy IDE ribbon cable is taking channel 0 so there is no way to change that, its just the way the motherboard was made. If your wanting a HDD as master 0 your going to have to find an old IDE harddrive and plug it into the master port on the IDE cable and move the DVD to the slave.

Current motherboards dont even come with IDE slots for DVD or floppy drives anymore.
