Can't Find Overclocking/Underclocking Program for Laptop

I have a Sager NP4658, and I just hooked it up with a 2x8GB 1866Mhz RAM kit. Needless to say I'm starting to regret this as my highest CPU temperatures went from 72C to 99C before it throttles the CPU and voltages. I've noticed that the BCLK occasionally automatically overclocks itself from 99.8Mhz to 100.8Mhz. The sad thing is that the maximum reported package wattage draw is only 32.201w, so this is ridiculously disappointing - I didn't realize that my i7-4810mq CPU can't handle RAM at an extra 133Mhz.

Anyways, BIOS is useless, and I haven't been able to find any laptop program that would allow me to underclock my RAM. ...or even overclock it. I've tried Intel's XTU, but RAM isn't found. Strangely enough there's a slider for all 4 CPU cores to reach 4.2Ghz, but RAM of all things is disabled. That's dumbfounding. I tried another Intel program, but it's apparently blocked (must be due to the nature of being a laptop.)

Does anyone know of a program, free or not, that would allow me to underclock my RAM? I'd hate to go back to 6GB (worst case I guess 12GB by mixing&matching, but no dual-channel) or buy yet another kit.

...laptop, so unless it's some super custom (pointless) rig (reiterating: Sager NP4658) it's DDR3L.

My RAM is running at 1.35v, but so was my previous RAM, so it has nothing to do with voltages.

OK, fine, had to check, if it was really DDR3 acting at 1.35 the error corrections on the memory controller would have caused additional heat, if it was working at 1.5 it woudl have caused additional heat.

Was it single channel before or dual channel.

Do you have an XMP option in bios?

The highest all 3 of my spec testers ever picked up on my voltage was 1.35v, so it definitely didn't fluctuate to 1.5v.

Single channel before, but I used to have 2x4GB of stock RAM at dual-channel, and that never affected temperatures (bounced RAM back-and-forth between systems and eventually ended up with just 6GB total. Yes, all temperature problems are solved going back to 6GB. No, the RAM isn't damaged.)

I literally only have boot options in BIOS - it's disgusting.

My current solution is simply a stick of slower RAM with a stick of my current RAM to force the faster RAM to operate at slower speeds. Maximum temperatures have returned to 72C (74C here in Arizona.)

I have a single 8GB stick in my girlfriend's laptop, so if my 4GB is compatible in her laptop (it's a lot more nitpicky about compatibility than my Sager) she'll have 12GB total, and I'll return to 16GB.

Thanks for your help, Mr. Mod. If you (or anyone else who happens to read this thread) happens to find a program that allows you to tweak RAM settings please let me know.
