Loud GPU - Can i fix it? - AMD r9 390

I bought a MSI R9 390 about 2 weeks ago, and it's a great card. The only problem i have while gaming is, that it's too loud even if i have games on low setting it's still loud i tried to customize the fan speed but if i put it on about 20% - 25% through the AMD Radeon programm, it goes about 85 Degree (or more) and i don't think it's safe. Do you guys know what to do?

You can download Afterburner and use it to set a custom fan profile according to your tastes but the R9 390 produces a lot of heat so its fans do have to work fairly hard to keep it cool. As a maximum target, 80C is very safe, 85 OK.
Another possible issue is case ventilation, again, the R9 390 produces a lot of heat so it needs good case ventilation for the cooler to work effectively. I found that my own R9 290 needed dual 120mm front fans for intake and two top/rear fans for exhaust in order to keep the noise and temperatures down.

These types of GPU's tend to run very hot and that's a normal thing. the important for it is to stay below 95+. now for the gpu fan is loud because it has to spin faster for the gpu to cool down while in heavy load. if you turn the fan down the temperature will go higher as long as it doesn't reach the temp i mentioned you're fine. if you're trying to make the fans silent while in heavy load than theres nothing you can do you dont want to risk damaging the gpu just for noise.
