Hi, I have very strange and probably dumb questions, but... When I built my computer I once saw that I have 4 processors available (in msconfig) but after a few months I reinstalled windows completely, and now I see I got 8 processors available ?? I'll drop a pic.. Any ideas what made it change ?

No it just means Windows is seeing it correctly. My above post about having the correct chipset drivers was right.

I don't know unless you didn't install the chipset drivers at first. It also depends on what program you are using to look at the processor as to if it shows just the 4 cores or the 8 threads.

Without access to the prior image its hard to say. Some BIOSes allow you to disable hyperthreading however you did not change that so thats not it. Was it a fresh install when you built the PC or did you carry the drive over from a prior build?

It was not completely fresh, I did reinstall windows because bios were crashing with the old windows.. though I had only d disk left untouched because of all the important files.. This time I deleted everything and connected the 2 disk in to one (They were c and d and now only c)

Ohh... Could be actually... So does it mean it should be faster and stronger after a fresh windows install ?
