Is there any benefit to getting a 2nd GTX 1080 for a single/dual monitor set up?

I've been looking around for answer to this but I have not been able to find anything. Would it be worth it to get a 2nd GTX 1080 for a single/dual (not decided) monitor set up. One monitor would be 4k while the other would be a 1080p one just for browsing and such. Would a single 1080 be sufficient or would a 2nd 1080 be more beneficial towards this build? Would I also need to change my recently bought 650w PSU? I plan on playing games mostly, while also doing just a little video editing.
Or should I wait for the upcoming Titan X?
Thanks!

The simple answer is who knows? Get your 4k monitor, add the 1080p secondary then at your games and surf. If the games you play, at the settings you are comfortable with are suffering on the 4k, then get the second card. Not gonna hurt to wait and see exactly what it'll do before deciding you need to drop another $700 on a unnecessary card.
a single 1080 is powerful enuf do fire 3 to 4 monitors easily...u can get a second 1080, but its potential as a graphical power enhancer will be wasted...there will be nothing for the second card to do except sit there and stagnate...
wats ur psu make/model/unit???

I've currently got the Corsair RM650i. I bought it a month ago when I originally planned on utilising just a single graphics card.

So you don't think I should get a second 1080? If I do, do you think I should get a new PSU? Would the wattage be enough to power both gpus? I plan on buying a new 4k monitor, and use the current one I have as a secondary monitor for streaming/netflix.

Personally, I wouldn't bother. Yes you will get a good performance boost on the games that support it, but the gtx 1080 performs great by itself, even with multiple monitors. Plus it will use more power, and Nvidia has been a bit weird with SLI with the new 10th series, so the support may not be as good as it used to be
