Hello! So yesterday I decided to upgrade my SSD from 120gb to 500gb. I had a samsung 840 evo, and yesterday I bought a samsung 850 evo. I removed the old one and plugged in the new one on old ones spot (same cables, psu, etc.). However when I started the PC and tried to get to BIOS in order to boot from usb, the screen just started getting stuck on "Detecting IDE drives". I only have a DVD connected to sata, except the ssd, so I just unplugged that and tried again - same thing. I tried different cables and ports, reseted the bios (removed battery), even tried to boot without any sata devices, still nothing. Funny thing tho: when I plug in my old SSD, everything works perfectly. I can get into BIOS, windows loads up, basically everything works perfectly. I tried the new SSD on my laptop and it works perfectly, no idea what's happening with my PC. Here are my specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
RAM: 4x2GB Corsair Vengeance
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1050T
GPU: Nvidia GTX660
Any idea what could be the problem? Appreciate your help!
