This has been going on for quite a while now and it usually happens when i am playing games like WoW/Dota (csgo for example never had this problem).
here is the problem : playing WoW, everything running fine, 100 fps, then suddenly the game runs like it would have <20 fps, even though it shows that it is running at well above 80fps! this is usually corrected by me alt tabbing , waiting 2-3 seconds/refreshing , then alt tabbing back in the game..and then it runs ok again. I can't understand where is this coming from ? cpu/gpu/drivers ?
specs :
mobo : gigabyte ex58-ud3r
gpu: gigabyte 7790 2gb
cpu: i7 920 oc-ed at 3.8ghz
ram: 12gb of some old kingston's
storage : samsung evo 850 500gb
psu: OCZ zs 750w
