I am selling my current dell inspiron 17r se to a friend since he has a 7 year old lenovo that is dying on him. I have had this laptop for 2 years now.
I am looking in to buying a new laptop for about 350$-500$
The laptop i am the most interested in is this: (lenovo ideapad 300 / 310) (i am aware better options exist for around 550$ with a dedicated gpu but thats a bit out of price range)

I do plan to game a bit, dont care for resolution (i for one dont notice it) and i can live with 30 fps
Just wanted to know if this will be able to handle a few games (mainly dota 2, overwatch) for when i am out of the US.i also would like to know if this will overheat even if i use it on a desk. I see there is no exaust fan on the sides or back? and lastly, if the ram is upgradable. i see that it is onboard ram but the other models have another stick installed. I dont need to use this all the time, just when i am not at home, or going over to a friends.
If anyone has any better choices in mind, please share!
