hey guys,
I"m very pissed at myself. I was half asleep from working the night shift and talking with my gf when I rushed to order the msi gtx 1060 card I've been waiting to order for a few days now. I wanted to order the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X or the Gigabyte G1 GTX 1060. I ordered the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming and not the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X. By the time I realized it and ran off the toilet, the "Cancel Order" button on newegg had disappeared and I already had an email saying payment was received and packaging.

I was having troubles finding the difference between the two aside from how fast the clocks were. Can anyone tell me the differences? Also, can you guys tell me how much of a difference the gaming x will be compared to the gaming in regards to the clock speeds

Gaming (ocmode): 1531Mhz (core)/1746Mhz(boost) memory clock: 8 Gbps GDDR5
Gaming X (oc mode): 1594Mhz(core)/1809Mhz(boost) memory clock: 8.1Gbps GDDR5

I'm really pissed at myself. I guess this will be that step child that you didn't want but now you are stuck with it :( Is there any hope that it's not as bad as I think it is?

Solution
Only difference is the clocks, not that it matters since GPU Boost 3.0 will overclock the boost clock by itself. It would be expected that most 1060 will boost to the same performance so I would not worry too much about it.
