So, I'm still new to PCs, but love games and want to finally build my own gaming PC. I've been doing my research and now have a build in mind at around $800. I like what I have together right now, but I thought I should ask for other opinions on it to be safe.

Here is my list at the moment:

Motherboard - ASUS Z170-P D3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132572

CPU - Intel Core i5-6600K: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561

Graphics Card - Radeon RX 480: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150770

CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

Case - Rosewell Challenger: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153

Memory - Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820233218

Hard Drive - WD Blue 1TB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339

PSU - Corsair CX600 600w: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

Basically I'd just like to know if there are any issues with this build, and what kind of performance I can expect out of it when it comes to playing any current games (on high as possible settings). I also want to overclock eventually, but I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and get a better cooler right away for a higher price, or wait a little. I want to keep the cost at around $800. Thanks for any advice.

Solution
You should get decent performance only there's one issue with your build which is that your CPU cooler of choice doesn't fit on your socket as far as I can see in the supported sockets page.

Solution
If it fits 1155 and 1150, it will fit 1151. The spacing for the cpu cooler mounting holes is the same between all of those.

Edit: however, a Hyper 212 will have problems with tall ram heatspreaders like I see on that Corsair Vengeance ram.

Thanks. I'm thinking about that cooler since I've seen it recommended for that CPU, but I was wondering about the socket.

Edit: And thanks for pointing that out about the ram.

Pardon me then as I didn't do my research correctly.
