I have a Dell Inspiron 3452 that has 2gb RAM. I bought a 4gb stick that was supposed to work on The Dell wedsite, but all I get is beeps when I try to turn it on. The RAM was the exact same speed and size, only difference was that it was 4gb instead if 2gb. I updated the bios but I dont know if it actually changed anything because it still didnt work. I asked the seller on amazon if it would work and he said it would. I seated the ram correctly, I know this. So why is the RAM not working.Help?

Thanks for the memory details. Actually the Crucial memory part number should start with "C".

The laptop is the Dell Inspiron 14 3452, yes?

If you are trying to run both the 2 GB and the 4 GB modules at the same time, then it is possible there is an inter-module incompatibility due to variations in module characteristics.

If having problems running the 4 GB module just by itself, then the module may be incompatible with the laptop, and/or the module may be faulty. Could try the module in another laptop.

But really need the Crucial 4 GB module part number (C . . .) to be certain of compatibility.
