Xbox One Instant on VS PC Sleep

Hey guys

is the XBOX one Instant on feature, the same as PC sleep??

My mate has an xbox one, and he has it in instant on mode for the past 2 years.
and it doesnt over heat or fry.
Is it possible for me to make my PC work exactly like that??

if i sleep my PC will it ruin it??

Basically i want my PC to be exactly like the XBOX. and is it possible to turn ur PC on with the xbox button on the XB controller?

should shut it down over night. My recommendation and possibly everyone's. Sleeping is when you are away for a short period of time

Instant On goes into a low power mode so you can easily resume it. Sleep act in a similar way. Ruining a PC by just 'sleeping it' is almost impossible. There are dozens of ways why your computer might be not working and putting it to sleep should not be concern at all. As for turning your PC with the controller you can always try and I believe it should work

is it safe to sleep the pc overnight, and then just shutdown once a week??
