my display keeps turning off whenever i play a game and the fan speeds are below 60% and when it happens the fans start to spin faster and louder, my guess is the pc may turn off because it reached the tj max of 70c, but thats just my guess,
also i have to manually make my fans go at either 70 80 or 90% depending on the game so it doesnt turn off, im wondering if theres a way to raise the tj max so the pc doesnt do this
specs are
amd a10 5700
20gb ddr3 1600mhz
msi 2ae0 mobo
gtx 580 1.5gb

Hi,

1st you sure about "20gb ddr3 1600mhz" ? i mean the 20gb part.

You can achieve that if you use a software to cap that such as afterburner from MSI (I can do that on dedicated GPU) or Radeon App which has this feature too.

What you can do also lower the CPU usage from Control Panel > Power Supply > Edit Plan settings > Processor Power Management > Maximum Processor State. This will lower the Temp but also will lower the CPU performance!

Also change to "active" System Cooling Policy, why? Below is the answer:

"In short: when active the fan speed on your laptop will constantly work and cool your laptop. on passive it doesn't work unless the temp is too high and it's forced to cool down the PC. Exept a bit more noise, I think active is the best choise."
