I am going to buy an anti-static wrist strap for a new build I am doing next Wednesday. My case is the Cooler Master MasterCase 5 and my PSU is an EVGA SuperNOVA 750 Watt. Those are both black and I assume they are painted. When I am building, what should I ground myself with? The case and PSU are not bare metal and the inside of the case is also black and painted, what should I clip myself to so that I am always grounded? Please help, all threads I have found just say PSU or case.

Ground yourself with your hand, dont bother with a wrist band and the plugging the PSU in nonsense.
I have never actually encountered an ESD incident that could have been solved by a bracelet.

Work on a solid, non conductive surface (and floor). I use a solid oak table and hard wood floors. As long as you arent wearing your wool socks doing some disco on carpet you really have nothing to worry about.
Touch the case when you begin working, this puts you and the work space on the same level of charge, if you dont create static by moving, there is no disequilibrium that causes ESD. Touch it every so often to maintain this balance and you will be fine.

Anywhere inside the case and there should be a grounding spot somewhere that is not painted.
Also wear rubber sole shoes and stay off carpet.

Some are more prone than others to build up static, The anti-static strap is good practice as damage to Electronic components can and will occur under certain circumstance. Don't take the chance.

really not needed. If you keep touching the case (Metal) you will be fine. Chances are you won't even need to do that! But you can ground yourself by connecting the bracelet anywhere inside the case

The paint film on a case or PSU won't stop a electrostatic charge, it's just not thick enough, you can equalise the charge by just touching the case/PSU.
If you really want to ground yourself any solid masonry wall, water pipe, heating radiator or grounded appliance (if it's plugged in) will do the job.
Me, I take a sock off and gently grip a central heating pipe with my toes but TBH unless you're doing disco on a nylon carpet in woollen socks ;) there's really no need to worry.
