Well, people usually got for the cheaper ones, excluding few not well known brands. 120 GB should be big enough, prices are around 50$.
Check this, sorted by sales. For the cheaper and smaller, Kingston is good, because it's decent and among cheapest, if you want to go 250 GB, Samsung is good, it's slightly more expensive than some other 250 GBs, but somewhat faster too. You can buy anywhere you want, but popular models are usually good.

Myself I contempted that 120 GB Kingston year ago, but I thought I might eventually ran out of space and then it would be tedious to try keeping the OS drive clear of junk, so I went for the 250 GB Samsung. It has room for Windows and most programs, plus few games. Most of the games I still have elsewhere. If you feel adventurous and the Samsumg seems bit too much, Adata is OK too.
If you want to compare speeds, the quoted speeds on marketing info are misleading. Continuos data speeds are not so important, random 4k read and write speed is far more deciding. And in 4k speeds different brands use different standards, so you'd have to read actual reviews and tests for actual comparison.
