I'm torn between getting a skylake cpu or a Haswell, if I got the skylake cpu it would cost me an extra £40 for DDR4 but the Haswell I'd be using my current ram, hyperx 2x4 1866mhz DDR3. It would either be the i5 4690 or i5 6500, my main question here is would it be worth the extra £40 for the new ram. I will also note that I'd be buying a new motherboard either way

End of the day to buy the same parts for a skylake your still spending & extra as all new ram cpu & odd plug in &...
