Is 650w enough for a GTX 1080 SLI?

Hi. I've ordered 2 GTX 1080s, but initially I had planned on building with only a single 1080. I was wondering if my 650w PSU would be enough to power a 1080 SLI build without overheating? I currently have the RMi650 corsair psu. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

I have not really thought about overclocking the GPUs yet. However I'm getting the Asus strix OC ones. Would 650w be just enough for both of them? or would I be better off getting a new PSU? I bought this new psu about just a month ago.

No , it is not enough a 1080 at max needs about 250w .am I right? Two of them needs 500 w . The recommended power for one 1080 is 500w . So the answer is no. You need at least 850 w power to make sure nothing will go wrong . And your psu should be at least silver for better results. Good luck with this .i hope this help you.
