Hi guys,
I want to build my first gaming pc that can play games on high/ultra and maybe the vr. I don't know if my build is good or if I overkilled something. My budget is around 1700 us dollars
So this is my build so far:

Cpu= I7 6700K
Cooler for cpu= Cooler Master Hyper 412S
Gpu= GTX 1070
Ram= Corsair 16 GB DDR3-2400
MB= Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151
HHD= Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2 TB
SSD= Lexar Crucial BX200 240 GB
Power supply= Corsair CX750 Voeding - 750 Watt

Solution
CHANGE THAT PSU!!!! Don't trust the CX series. They are notoriously terrible. Go with EVGA. And you don't need 750 watts unless you're going to SLI. Not sure the difference between an i7 and i5 in VR or if it makes a huge difference. Otherwise I think you're good. Maybe get a Western Digital over Seagate. Seagate drives also fail quite often and I can promise that from experience
