Hi,
Could any of the gurus help me?
After setting up raid 10 with 4 of WD 1TB hdds and installing windows 10 on my asus sabertooth z170 mark 1. Up to this point everything
was fine. But once I upgraded the bios to version 1801 and to my suprise the pc/mb not only did not start the windows, but hanged also.
when i checked the bios:
Bios Utility EZ Mode:
Under Sata Information: List of 4 HDDs and CD Rom.
Under Boot Priority: CD Rom only.
I hope you can help me.
Thank you in advance and all the best.

Flashing BIOS returns BIOS settings to default settings. RAID is not a default setting.

You just need to enter BIOS and reset the SATA mode to RAID before the system begins entering Windows. Once you let it try booting into Windows without resetting SATA mode, it is too late and you will break the RAID array.
