ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GAMING (STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING)
ASUS RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 - ATX / X99
Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (2x16GB) 2666MHz / DDR4 / CL16 - Röd (CMU32GX4M4A2666C16R)
Corsair PowerSupply (PSU) HX1200i 1200W titanium
Intel Core i7-6850K / 3.6Ghz (3.8Ghz Turbo) 15MB / Socket 2011-3
NZXT Phantom 820 - White
Corsair H115i water cooling
Asus Rog x34a curved monitor (when it is released in a month or 2)

Will be getting a zotac pci-e 480gb ssd and a 1TB sata 6 ssd (don't know what one) yet heard Samsung are crap now aparently)

Is it worth waiting for the titan x? Out 2nd August although I can't see the price of it.

And any changes are welcomed with a valid argument (psu i assume as I will single gpu as the up scaling is crap with sli so I heard.)

Oh OK that makes sense, I was confused about the wording in your original post then. I got it now. Yeah the 6800K is definitely a good choice, that is what I was planning to upgrade my system to but I think I'm going to wait for the 7th gen of Intel CPUs next year before I upgrade.
As a personal user of the X34, I find myself not even needing the 980 ti most of the time since 3440x1440 is an epic sweet spot. Go for a 1080 with that build. The titan won't be worth it, since you can already push everything you need on that monitor with the 1080. The PSU is terribly over-wattaged. Get something like an 850W at the most if you plan to SLI in the future. Also, are you planning to do editing? If not, go for the i7 6700k and a maximus branded board. Now cases are all a matter of preference, but I've also owned the phantom 820 before and it is HUUUUUUGE. Just be prepared to have a large space to work in it and place. Overall very awesome build.

IMO - storage is the biggest waste of money and does not improve performance in any area other than load times. The Samsung 950 Pro is one of the best drives you can get in that area and you don't need anything more than that and a mechanical HD. Anything above that and you're throwing money away.

Is it worth waiting for the titan x? Out 2nd August although I can't see the price of it.

I'm guessing it won't be cheap considering 1080s are going for well over $800 right now. If I had to ballpark I would say at minimum $1199. How much are you looking to spend on this system?

hmm.. well I'm having issues with my SSD / HDD setup... when I download a game to my HDD it downloads fast but take a complete age to install.. or even updates, 100mb update can take up to 5 mins to install, it should take about 1 second -.-' maybe I got my system set up wrong or something.

and yeah I want fast load times maybe ill go with an m.2 for my OS and a couple of games I play a lot and forget the PCi-e card !

I'm thinking about £500-800 a year and I like them to last 5 years like my current system, so I budget for that £2500-£4000 give or take a couple of pound, currently it sits about £3500 subject to change, ive decided on another monitor now (someone said the x34 isn't as good as they make it out as some games doesn't even support the resolution

Buying with the intention of upgrading immediately is never a good idea - you will never be satisfied with what you have. It's best to get what you want and even if you have to pay more, to avoid upgrades later on. Because with that in mind you will wind up spending double or triple your initial budget. Plus anything you spend over a certain amount of money will result in rapidly diminishing returns on your investment.

That said here's what I would suggest:

oh, sorry I budget a build based on how much I am happy to spend every year over 5 years then that's my total budget, last build was about £400 a year with my current system. this one is slightly more at £500-£800 giving the total of £2500-£4000 for the complete build.

I'm getting the 6800k processor now as it is £200 cheaper than the 6850k and is almost as good on paper.
