I sold my case a few days ago and bought a new one online and it still hasn't come. Somethings come up and I really need to use it. I have all of my hard ware on my desk minus the case. Would it be safe if I used it for some Photoshop stuff while my motherboard sits on the anti static bag it came and that bag being on the bad with a fan constantly being blown on it. While my SSDs and power supply sits on the floor next to it? I live alone without pets so it getting stepped on or knocked over isn't an issue.

Specs:
Mobo - Gigabyte H170M - DH3
CPU - Intel core i7 6700 (stock heatsink)
Memory - 8GB corsair vengeance
PSU - Corsair CX850M
SSDs - Kingston 480GB & Samsung 850 Evo

(I'm leaving my GTX 970 out of it and am using my motherboard video output)

Do not put the motherboard on an anti static bag they are conductive. They are meant to protect parts when they are not in use and inside of the bag as they create a faraday cage around the component. set the motherboard on a piece of wood or cardboard. I wouldn't set anything on the floor either.
Never set the motherboard on the anti static bag. In fact it may already be dead, I can't assure that it will survive even if it's not hooked up to power. An anti static bag repels static from getting to the inside, but the outside is likely charged.

Put the motherboard on its box.

That's the main thing that stands out to me.
