Hey , I do not know which headset I want to buy.

I mostly play CS : GO (I Do not use surround sound)

Want to have a headset that has good sound and great mic

Should I buy G230, cloud or cloud 2

Solution
I can't speak to the other two headsets because I've never used them but I love my HyperX Cloud. I bought it over the HyperX Cloud 2 for a couple reasons. First, I don't like simulated surround sound headsets. My previous headset was a Turtle Beach 5.1 system and I never liked the sound quality. I would rather have a quality, stereo headset any day.

Second, I didn't want a USB headset. I would much rather have something with standard 3.5mm headset and mic jacks that don't require any drivers or software to use. A side benefit is that it is easily compatible with other devices. I also use it for my PS4 on the rare occasion that I play a game on that console.

Unless you want simulated headphone surround sound I would recommend the...

There are mixed reviews about the Logitech and it's mic issues. My brother uses the Cloud 2's and the mic quality is great and they are really comfortable. There isn't much difference between the cloud 2's and the normal clouds but if you have the cash for the cloud 2's they are slightly improved and are better than the Logitechs

Unless you want simulated headphone surround sound I would recommend the Hyper X Cloud. If you do want simulated surround go with the Cloud 2. The Cloud headsets have very good sound and mic quality and it is the most comfortable headset I have ever owned. I can wear it all day without any discomfort while my old Turtle Beach used to give me a headache after about an hour.
