Will a i3 6100 bottle neck a gtx 960? I just bought a computer with a i3-6100 processor and plan on upgrading the gpu to a gtx 960 from the 750 ti that the computer comes with. Are the i3 6100 and the gtx 960 compatible with each other? And will it bottle neck the gtx 960?

Not at all. You might want to look at the GTX 1060 though. It's significantly faster than the 960. Still a good pairing with the 6100.

Im just in middle school so i dont need, or want anything that hardcore gaming wise, just something to pass the time after school
