Hotel Router Not showing up. My siblings have wifi on thier phones. Help!

I am on a Hp computer and I got to OC Maryland. The hotel im staying at has wifi but i cant see it on my computer.. I have tried using the manual connection but nothing. I have tried everything else. HELP!!

I had a friend staying abroad (Spain) with similar problem - all phones / tables were seeing the WiFi, but not his laptop (also a HP, what a co-incidence). Finally, he persuaded the receptionist to reboot the router (it was relatively small hotel), and voila - the laptop saw the WiFi, too.
