Hey guys i have been having a bit of a issue lately with my PC (spec's are down below). I noticed my computer started to take a bit more than usual to load to the login screen after i had tweaked the settings in system configuration. When i was playing with system configuration i changed the core count 8 originally and the computer would not start so I changed it back to 4 through CMD. I currently have my RAM configured on XMP mode, and i also have modified the settings for the RAM through the BIOS and tweaked a few settings. It was today that i got the blue screen of death twice. the first time the error was "Kernel Security Check Failure" and the second was " System service exception". I think its one of settings i moved with the RAM that caused the failure.

To try to fix the issue i have tried the windows memory diagnostics tool, driver verify manager and sfc /scannow

Can someone help be to fix the blue screen issue. This is the link for pics

Is the CPU at stock? If so might need a small OC on it or add a bit of voltage to the DRAM and/or MC (memory controller) to run at full 3200

Ok first thing to do is go back into msconfig and uncheck number of processors and uncheck maximum memory. There is no reason to ever mess with those settings. Next reset your BIOS back to stock (the easiest way is to pull your CMOS battery for a couple minutes after the computer is unplugged). Then re-start, go into the BIOS, set the memory to XMP and see how it works and if its stable. Then report back.

One other thing I am assuming on this build you did a new Windows install correct?

What i ended up doing is a bit similar. I reset the bios, by taking the CMOS battery out and i put pretty much all the settings are the same, with exception that i unchecked the max ram setting on system configurator to your question it was a new windows install.

Interesting, I haven't messed with the CPU but i do find adding voltage to the memory helpfull. How much do you think i should add? considering my build.

You need to uncheck the processor setting as well.
