Recently I've upgraded from an ASUS STRIX GTX 970 to this Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1.
Since then , I've noticed some performance problems.
I have to tell you , this 1070 does better than the old 970 but when I'm comparing my FPS and usage with the ones on the internet (especially youtube) some things look wrong.
For example , with the ultra settings in GTA V I get around 45-55 fps . Same goes for other games.
I'm pretty sure it is not bottlenecking.
My hardware:
CPU:i7 4970k
RAM:8 GB DDR3
PSU: Zalman ... 700W
MB: MSi Z97 Gaming 3
I've tried :
- DDU
- Reinstalling Windows
- Updating BIOS
- Updating Graphics Driver (obv.)
Usage is at 99-100% while the temperatures are around 70C
Long story short : I get less FPS in games than I should have.
