Hi!
I have a simple question- In my planned build, I have a GTX 1060, 8 GB DDR4-2400 and an Intel Core i3-6100. Will I bottleneck?

Thanks.

Solution
If you can get a cheap Z170 motherboard, (preferably by Asrock) You can buy 3000Mhz ram which is very little more expensive than 2400Mhz, it will give you alot, and i mean alot more performance, and get 2x4GB sticks, not 1x8Gb. Also with an Asrock motherboard, you will be open to overclocking non K skylake chips, so it would be a nice performance boost.

That's balanced?! Wow, the i3 was far more powerful than I thought.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
PSU: Rosewill 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

You might encounter a bit of a CPU bottleneck on more CPU heavy titles, particularly newer ones that can scale up to 4 cores or more quite well, but most of the time you should be getting most of the performance out of your card. If you're playing lots of open world type games like GTA V, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, etc. then you will benefit from splashing out a bit more to get an i5 to go with your GTX 1060.
