Yeah, funny story I'll make it short. I was installing my H100i V2 and the corsair link cable somehow burned while turning it on. Didn't effect anything but it really worries me how fast the fans go just on idle mode and it bothers me with the excessive noise. Is there any way I can lower my fan speed for my CPU cooler?

Contact Corsair Tech Support if necessary and get a replacement cable. My understanding is that all control of the cooling of your CPU by the H100i unit is controlled by the Corsair Link software that MUST use this cable to a USB port to communicate with the pump module and fans.
