I dont plan on overclocking my cpu at all.
This is the processor thats in my pc:
Intel Core I7-4790 Processor-BX80646I74790
which would be best for me if I do not plan to overclock

You're Welcome. You could spend more, but the CPU you want to cool will not be overclocked and so there really is no point.

Get the Cryorig H7 if you can find it, its easier to install and offers better performance then the Hyper212 EVO.

I own the Hyper 212 Evo and it keeps my i5-2500k @ 4.5GHz cool but it was difficult to install, I had to look up a video on Youtube to watch how it was done.

Good Deal I've seen the install of that CPU Cooler on Cryorig's website, it looks fairly painless. You can probably find more detailed instructions on youtube as well. Just out of curiosity, what did it end up costing you? Price+Shipping?

The only thing I can think of is because of the increase in popularity it has been receiving. When it was around $35.00 it was a no brainer to buy it. I think they realized they have a better unit then they initially thought, and have raised the price to match its performance.
