Gaming Processor for next gent gaming

I am a PC gamer and now I have G3220. I know this isn't quiet enough for gaming. I think I should go for i5 4690k . But the problem is if I buy this processor can I run next generation game in 1080p ULTRA settings !!! I mean next generation game by Battlefield 1 , Mafia III , Dishonored 2 , Call of duty infinite warfare. OR do i need to purchase i7 4790k ??? Don't worry about my GPU now I have RX 480 :D

unless you twitch/youtube stream your game sessions, and/or you run a lot of background tasks, the i5 should be fine. If you do stream/run many tasks...the i7 would be a better choice as the extra threads will help. i use an i5 4670k for a file server/game stream system for my shield tablet and handheld. It works wonderfully so i see no reason an i5 4690k would be any less wonderful then my slightly older i5 4670k.
