No Raid Support on Motherboard, what does that mean?

Hello everyone,

I was browsing a webstore, I encountered a nice motherboard called "MSI B150M BAZOOKA".
This website sums up some pro's and con's of this motherboard.
They say also: "This Motherboard does not have RAID support".

I am not really into this stuff. But what does it mean it doesn't have RAID support?
Does this mean you can't install more then one harddisk on your computer?

RAID is basically a system Intel built to make drives work together in various ways. For example, a RAID 0 volume made up of 2 drives will write half of any data to one drive and the other half to the other. This means you get higher read and write speeds, but if one drive fails all your data is unusable. Conversely, a RAID 1 volume makes an exact copy of the data on the second drive, so if one drive fails you still have all your data.

Up to a few years ago you had to use separate expansion cards in order to make such volumes, until support for it was implemented in Intel's high end chipsets (Z-series and X-series mainly). The B-series and H-series chipsets however don't support it natively.
