Video Is Laggy

Hello guys, I was recording DayZ Standalone and I was getting good FPS (50-70FPS) but when I went to watch the video it was very laggy.

Specs:

GPU: Asus Strix R7 370 2GB
CPU: Intel Skylake i3-6100 3.7Ghz
RAM: (2x4GB) HyperX 2133Mhz
PSU: Coolermaster G550M 550W
Motherboard: Asus B150-M

How did you record it? If it was with very low compression it may be fragmented and cause playback issues. In most cases compressing the video into a smaller file helps playback. Just do not go overkill or quality will suffer.

Programs that can defrag a single file may also help with playback if fragmentation is the issue. Using a dedicated drive for recording can greatly reduce fragmentation.

If it was with some kind of hardware compression this is not normally an issue.

Can you try to play it back in VLC. This program tends to playback almost anything.
