Hey everyone, I want to buy a pc at Digital Storm and really like their liquid cooling options (Hydrolux). The thing is, I want a loop with the less possible maintenance requirements since I don't want to worry about draining the whole thing every three months or so. Plus, I am a real newbie when it comes to water cooling and don't want to risk spilling in my pc (I will buy it in the US, but I live in Brazil, So support from DS would be unexistent). So I think I will get the Hydrolux LITE cpu only loop, since it only cools the cpu, which is something I will only change every 4 years give or take.
In their website it says the Hydrolux has many unique features, like quick disconnects and easy maintenance. I also saw in a forum that this loop doesn't require maintenance for it's first 3 years of guarantee but am not sure if it's true. Even with quick disconnects I still have to drain it do change a component? Or does the liquid stay inside the pipes at all times?
Has anyone ever had any experience with Hydrolux? If even with those features it is still a headache to maintain it I will just get a all in one loop... Any input about this kit in particular or just water cooling in general woud be much appreciated.
All the links you guys need are down here:

Thanks in advance!

1| I'd highly suggest you don't go for a prebuilt system primarily because you can build one yourself and gain a lot of experience doing so. The end result is self satisfaction.
2| I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do with those aforementioned links since they end up as dead ends. If you want to avail the QDC's(quick disconnects) option then you're going to have to spend a lot of money on them.

In my opinion you could build a system within an NZXT S340 and slap on an EK Predator 240 XLC cooler and be about your business.

3| AIO(All-in-One) coolers require little to no maintenance apart from the regular dust cleaning runs that you're going to have to do with any regular PC and their components. You're going to find a lot of...

4| You'd be best served going through the watercooling sticky as a whole and reserve some time to read through it. It'll take a while to sink in but the information is very dense and important ;)

I've moved your thread to the System's section as it was previously in the Memory section.

Great! Thank you so much! We don't have the s340 here yet but I found a store with the h440 razer edition. I heard it has great watercooling support. Besides, it's one of the most gorgeous cases in the market in my opinion. Thanks again for such a detailed response!

Followup meaning:
noun
noun: followup
- a continuation or repetition of something that has already been started or done.
- a further examination or observation of a patient in order to monitor the success of earlier treatment.
- a piece of work that builds on or exploits the success of earlier work.

Which means if you've made any progress with a build in the mean time...?

You're welcome :)
