Okay so the google fiber network box is in the basement of my home and my computer is in a loft on what I guess you would call the 2.5 floor its basically a room in the attic. There is a line ran all the way up here for the google fiber tv box and for now I have a cat6 cable running from the tv box to my computer but the problem is the google fiber tv box only allows 100 mbps. So how do I got about getting 1 gigabit speeds? My network card is the Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E Network Adapter EXPI9301CTBLK.
